Nuarro is a unique ‘beach & bush’ lodge, with world class diving (from the shore.) Nuarro is based on a strong concept of ethical and fair trade tourism.
Twelve luxury beachfront chalets on the beach accommodate a maximum of 24 to 40 guests. Some of the chalets have an optional twin bed upstairs for families. Each chalet has 100 m² of constructed area and was built utilizing traditional technology, creating perfect ventilation. They all have indoor and outdoor showers, a lounge area, a large wooden veranda, a sun deck with a view of the bay and a private path leading to the beach and daybed.
The beach is simply stunning and easy to reach from your chalet. Have a look at the whales, go snorkelling or enjoy a nice walk along the beach and watch the local fishermen.
Nuarro Bay is a protected area. The biodiversity is unprecedented. You can go diving directly from the beach amid a beautiful coral reef. From July to December, Humpback whales visit the bay with their young.
A panoramic high-class restaurant & cocktail bar is located on the west end of the beach. It has a beautiful view of “Nanatha Island Rock” and the bay beyond. Fresh seafood and salads form a creative menu comprising traditional and international cuisine. The restaurant has a sunken lounge area
The wide variety of activities available at Nuarro is unique. In addition to diving, the Activity Centre offers an extensive array of activities such as snorkelling, whale watching (seasonal), dhow sailing trips, sea kayaking, picnic trips to isolated beaches, mountain biking and village trips.
