Shaped like a dropped pearl, Anantara Medjumbe Private Island lies at the northernmost reach of the 250km long Quirimbas Archipelago. ITINERARY:  3 nights Ibo Island Lodge, 4 nights Medjumbe Private Island

Day 1:

Guests will fly from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport.  The flying time is approximately 4.5 hours and guests can fly with Air Mozambique (note that Air Mozambique only flies 3 days a week on a Monday, Thursday and Friday) or with SA Airlink (note that SA Airlink does not fly on a Thursday and a Sunday).

On arrival in Pemba you will be met by an Ibo Island Lodge representative who will escort you to the waiting room for your light aircraft transfer to the lodge.

Enjoy 3 nights at Ibo Island Lodge on a full board basis (excluding drinks).

Day 4:

After a leisurely morning guests will embark on a light air transfer of approximately 20 minutes from Ibo Island to Medjumbe Island.

Enjoy 4 nights at  Medjumbe Private Island on a fully inclusive basis

Day 8:

Guests will do a light air transfer from Medjumbe Island to Pemba for outgoing flight back home.

Snorkelling, diving, kayaking, historical & cultural tours, ocean safaris, sunset dhow cruises and fishing charters.
