The Mobile Island Hopping Safari offers guests a chance to explore the Quirimbas Archipelago! Sail into the clearest of blue water with pristine corals below to explore under snorkel.  Your chance to camp in the open Mozambique bush.

Coral Lodge offers 10 stylish luxury villas and the main guest areas allow guests to unwind and relax. Because of its unique location, Coral Lodge can offer you a great number of activities with lots of variation. You can simply enjoy the resort, the beach, and the water sports or satisfy your curiosity of the rich Mozambique history and the culture.

ITINERARY: 10 Nights’ at Ibo Island Lodge, Dhow Safari & Coral Lodge

Day 1:

Flight from Johannesburg to Pemba with SA Airlink or LAM. On arrival in Pemba, you will be met by a representative who will escort you to the waiting room for your light aircraft transfer to Ibo Island Lodge.

Day 1-2:

2 nights’ accommodation at Ibo Island Lodge on a full board basis

Day 3:
This morning guest will depart on a tented mobile dhow safari in the Quirimbas Archipelago. This is a brilliant way to explore the coastline fringed by tropical islands on a sturdy motorized Arab dhow complete with experienced crew and pro guide

Day 3-5:
3 nights on Mobile Island Hopping Safari on a full board basis

Day 6:
After leisurely morning guests will be dropped off on Ibo Island. From here guests will take a light aircraft transfer back to Pemba. Once in Pemba board a Mozambique Airlines flight to Nampula where guests will be collected and transferred by road to Ilha de Mocambique. Drive time is approximately 2 hours. Once on Ilha, it’s 15 minutes by speedboat across to Coral Lodge

Day 6-10:
5 nights at Coral Lodge on a fully inclusive basis

Day 11:
In the morning guests will be driven back to Nampula in time for the outgoing flight back to Johannesburg.

Ibo Island Lodge: Accommodation in a historical/ garden facing room; All meals; Guided historical Tour; Daily transfer to a private sandbank beach; Use of Kayaks,  Medical evacuation

Mobile Island Hopping Safari: Accommodation in tents, all meals, nonparticipation camp, all linen and sleeping gear, nonmotorized activities

Coral Lodge: Return transfers, accommodation in a luxury chalet, all meals, house wines, soft drinks, local beers & spirits, bottled water, tea & coffee, all non-motorised activities, guided tour to Ilha de Moçambique and $2 per person per night contribution to the community fund
